Service Coverage Terms

These Service Coverage Terms set out the scope, availability, and conditions under which Vellum provides mobile refuelling and related services. These terms form part of, and should be read in conjunction with, Vellum’s Terms of Service.

1. Service availability

Vellum provides mobile refuelling and related automotive services to active members only.

All services are subject to availability, operational capacity, safety requirements, and access conditions at the service location.

2. Standard service area

Membership includes service coverage within a 25 kilometre radius of the Melbourne CBD.

This standard service area is defined to ensure reliable delivery times and consistent service quality for members.

3. Extended service area

Services may be provided outside the standard service area at Vellum’s discretion.

Where a vehicle is located outside the included service area, a distance-based travel charge may apply. Any such charge will be communicated to the member prior to service being carried out.

4. Fuel type

Vellum supplies premium 98 octane fuel only.

No other fuel types are offered unless expressly agreed in writing.

5. Fuel delivery

Fuel delivery is included as part of an active membership within the standard service area.

Members are billed for the volume of fuel dispensed to their vehicle. Fuel pricing is determined monthly and applies for the relevant billing period.

6. Access requirements

Members are responsible for ensuring:

  • lawful and safe access to the vehicle at the service location

  • that refuelling is permitted at the location

  • that any relevant site rules or approvals are complied with

Vellum may refuse or reschedule service where access is restricted, unsafe, or non-compliant.

7. Scheduling and rescheduling

Service requests are scheduled subject to availability.

Vellum reserves the right to reschedule services due to weather conditions, safety concerns, access issues, or operational requirements.

8. Vehicle condition

Vellum is not responsible for pre-existing damage, mechanical faults, or vehicle defects present prior to service.

Members must ensure that vehicle information provided is accurate.

9. Safety and compliance

All services are performed in accordance with applicable safety standards and operational procedures.

Vellum may suspend or refuse service where safety risks are identified.

10. Service limitations

Vellum does not guarantee service availability at specific times or locations.

Emergency or urgent requests are handled on a best-efforts basis only.

11. Changes to service coverage

Vellum may modify service coverage areas, service offerings, or delivery conditions from time to time.

Members will be notified of material changes where reasonably practicable.
